These Fiber Optic Spider Fan-Out Kits from Corning Cable Systems are designed for both factory or field terminations of distribution or loose tube fiber optic cables from 4 to 24 optical fibers. The fan-out tubing provides three layers of protection against physical damage and consists of a Teflon inner tube, a dielectric strength member and an outer protective PVC jacket. This Fiber Optic Spider Fan-Out Kit also features a multi-piece tubular housing that shields the fan-out insert from physical damage. The Fiber Optic Spider Fan-Out Kit terminates directly to 3mm buffer tubes, requires no special tools or heat shrink, and is re-enterable.
