HydraSol® is a water-based fiber optic cleaner that you will find is amazingly effective at dissolving and removing fiber optic cable filling greases (Icky Pic). You will also like the fact that dissolved grease isn't "redeposited" on the fiber optic cable as the cleaner residue dries. This economical fiber optic solvent easily rinses off your hands and tools with water. You can purchase HydraSol fiber optic cleaning solvents as premoistened towelettes or in a one gallon jug. Towelettes come in an easy-open foil pack that you will especially like for smaller cleaning jobs and fiber optic splicing. HydraSol fiber optic cleaner solvents do not contain Chlorinated Solvent, CFC, or Glycol Ether content.
